I wouldn’t be a good business owner if I didn’t have goals. Goals push you forward and force you to grow. I’ve had a running list of business/career goals scribbled on my favorite work notebook for years now and I keep adding to it and thankfully crossing items off of the list as I celebrate tiny wins over and over again.

When I started this business, I wanted to be on a preferred vendor list. Then I wanted to be preferred by The Ritz-Carlton. I hoped to have one of my weddings featured on a blog. Then I wanted one of my weddings featured on Style Me Pretty. I wanted to have one of my weddings printed in any magazine. Then I wanted a wedding printed in Ceremony magazine…. and the list goes on. I am beyond proud that Ive accomplished so many of my goals through the years, but one thing that I still had my heart set on was a Association of Bridal Consultants Trendsetter Award. Well my friends, Engaged took one home in December and I am elated to be able to cross one more milestone off of my “to do” list!

The Association of Bridal Consultants Trendsetter Gala was on December 13th at the Disneyland Hotel. Jen, Jenna and I attended (and Brian as my date of course!) and sat in the midst of over 300 of the best wedding professionals in California. Such a fun night, we enjoyed the amazing decor, yummy food, the fun 80s band and the awards ceremony. Nominated in three categories amongst the best of the best, we took home the award for Best Theme/Thematic Follow through event of 2016! Yay!

Thank you ABC for the honor and thank you to the amazing vendors who helped on Alex & Matt’s wedding day last November. It was their Angels Stadium affair that secured the win for me and I’ll forever be grateful that I was able to be a part of such a perfect wedding celebration!
