real wedding: megan & chris 6/6/2015

Who doesn’t love a beautiful garden wedding? Overhead lights, lush greens, great music, flowing beverages…. perfection! Megan and Chris had a stunning wedding at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club, one that I know their guests were gushing about for months after! This couple has such an adorable love story, they caught my heart from the first meeting. I was thrilled to come on board as their full service planner to put all the details in place for their big day!

On a trip to the states, UK born Chris met Megan in a bar in LA and his life was forever changed! Years of a long distance relationship and thousands of airline miles later, the two got engaged and planned to be married here in Orange County. Knowing that Megan was the woman of his dreams, Chris left his family and friends in the UK and moved to California to be with Megan! Now that is sweet, sweet love!

The couple wanted their guests to see their personalities shine through in all areas of the event. We fused classic wedding traditions with a little UK flare. Our buffet consisted of beef sliders for the americans, and fish and chips for the folks from the UK. Custom corn hole games with the US and UK flag were a hit all night for the guests and Matt Shockley and his band kept the dance floor packed with a variety of old school and pop music. The DJ was on at 11pm for the afterparty, where the late night guests had so much fun with glow in the dark balloons, sunglasses and glow sticks!
