I am very lucky that over the years I have spent nearly nothing on advertising. All of my business comes from referrals, which is so personal to me. When a past couple refers me to another couple, it is a huge compliment! Jamie and DJ were given my name by Branden (a past groom from 2011) and I was thrilled! From the moment we met I knew we’d have a great time together planning!

Jamie and DJ are both very easy-going and fun. Both athletes, Jamie a softball player, and DJ a football player (he even played in the NFL!) they were a match made in heaven. After meeting in Nebraska in college, the two remained together, dating long distance until they could again share the same zip code. Now both living in CA, the two decided to tie the knot, and I was thrilled to share in the celebration!

The couple chose The Promenade and Gardens in Costa Mesa for the ceremony and reception. Catered by The Turnip Rose, this location promised amazing food and beverage, and they delivered! The space offered a private venue space for only Jamie and DJ on the day of the event, with great indoor and outdoor space for their guests to enjoy.

Being in the middle of summer, Jamie wanted colors to reflect a warm, fresh, colorful feeling. She chose to have her bridesmaids in a beautiful wine color, and we chose oranges and fuchsias for her flowers. The colors worked together perfectly! With a striking silver satin linen on her dinner tables, her décor was stunning!

Working with the couple as their mid-level planner, we were able to assemble an “A” team of wedding vendors. Some of my favorites were with us on this one; Frank Salas, Carcano DJ, The Emotion Picture Studio and Elegant By Design, just to name a few. You can’t go wrong when you have a team of amazing vendors ready to make your day flawless!
