When I first started dating my husband, one of the first friends that he introduced me to was Daniel. Daniel and Brian had become close through mutual friends, and over the years he had become like a little brother to my husband.
From the first night I met Daniel, we hit it off instantly. Daniel is such an outgoing, fun person. He was single back then, and it wasn’t uncommon for Daniel, Brian and myself to hang out. During the first summer Brian and I were dating, Daniel and I went to a few baseball games together, to catch a game and visit Brian. The 3 of us also would grab a drink late night after I was done coordinating a wedding or Brian finished up at the Stadium. Even as a trio, I never felt like an outsider, nor do I think Daniel did. We all just hung out and I had a great time getting to know him as I got to know Brian.
Fast forward a few years, I remember when Daniel started dating Paige. Right from the start I knew she was it for him. Paige began also coming around and I was thrilled to get to know her as well. Brian and I were so happy to see them so happy together. There is such joy watching a close friend find their true love. Just warms your heart to watch! 🙂
When Daniel and Paige got engaged, I of course wanted to jump on board to help them on their planning journey! Wanting everything to be perfect for them, so I assisted along the way in any way that I could. Paige had a clear idea of what she wanted, colors that she wanted to incorporate and the overall “feel” she wanted her guests to experience. She was a planning pro! With her ideas and my organization, we sailed through the process!
They tied the knot on June 1st at Glen Ivy Golf Club in Corona. On what seemed like the hottest day of the summer in the IE, I watched them exchange their sweet vows to each other, as I also proudly watched Brian stand by Daniels side as one of his groomsmen. It was such a special day!
We used tiffany blue, brown and ivory in our decor. Paige went for simple candle centerpieces with a pretty blue overlay on her tables. After a great meal, the dance floor was packed all night! We ended the night with a lantern send off, where the bride and groom and their parents made a wish and sent a glowing lantern into the sky. Such a sweet ending to the celebration!
Paige and Daniel, Brian and I were so honored to be a small part of your big day! We love you both and are so happy that you found each other! We’ll be here for you both every step of the way! Congrats again to you both! Here’s to a lifetime of happiness!
