real wedding: courtney jo & tyler 4/13/13

A secluded, lush venue, a horse and carriage, cowboy boots, and country music….. Courtney Jo & Tyler’s wedding reflected their personalities completely. Even their wedding date was selected with purpose. Philippians 4:13 is the couples’ favorite bible verse  “I can do all this through him who gives me strength”. So very unique, this event was one that I wont soon forget!

The first day Courtney Jo and her mom walked into my office, I knew she looked familiar to me. It took me almost our entire first consultation before I realized that she worked at the dentist office that I had gone to for years! In the months to follow we also discovered that she went to high school with my sister-in-law…. such a small world! We hit it off right from the start and I knew we’d work together very well. Courtney was such a great bride to plan with, organized and fun. She knew exactly what she wanted and I was honored to help her put all the right pieces into place, to make her fairy tale a reality!

The Secluded Garden Estate was the setting for our country chic celebration. Not your typical venue, this all outdoor space in the heart of Temecula, sits in between the canyon. Amazing views are all around you and with the estates multi level grounds, a different setting awaits you around every corner. Our ceremony was held in the old greenhouse, where old glass windows were hung around the perimeter. A rose petal aisle and a beautiful flower arrangement above alter created the perfect frame for the ceremony. Courtney Jo has ridden horses her entire life, so it was more than appropriate that she rode into the ceremony space in a horse and carriage with her father….. a real tear jerking moment!

We moved to the main lawn for the reception. Burlap, lace and shades of pink decorated the space. Mason jars, hydrangea and horseshoes kept with our country theme, and of course our Father of the Bride wore his cowboy hat during his Father of the Bride speech. A mix of pop hits and country music kept the dance floor packed all night, and the photo booth and the amazing dessert station kept the late night energy up! So much fun!

Courtney Jo and Tyler, what a great time we had! It was so much fun getting to know your families and working with you as your partner on your planning journey! More than just a past bride, you are now a friend and I know we’ll keep in touch! Congrats on such a beautiful wedding…. I hope it was all you had dreamed it would be!
