real wedding: kristy & enrique 10/11/12

Thursday, 10/11/12! What a fun day to have a wedding!

Kristy and Enrique said “I Do” at the beautiful Hotel Maya in Long Beach. I love working at Maya, always feels like home to me! ūüôā

The bride and groom live in Las Vegas, NV. They choose hotel Maya for the view and for the hotel’s bright, colorful charm. We planned the event mostly over email and the phone, but had a great time in the process! Once we met for the rehearsal I felt like I had known them for years!

Kristy chose a color palate¬†of white, grey and silver. It was understated and classy! The bridesmaids wore beautiful long grey dresses, and Kristy’s gown was perfection.

The ceremony was performed by Mr. Don Johnson himself. With the rain clouds forming above us, Don was anxious to get the ceremony underway! After a heartfelt ceremony, Don announced the new couple, when literally minutes later it started to pour! The couple made it back down the aisle, and the guests quickly were moved to the cocktail area before it started to really rain. Thank you mother nature for holding the rain until after the ceremony, we were all very grateful! Kristy and Enrique got the waterfront ceremony they had dreamed of!

As the rain came down during the reception, the candlelight¬†glow in the ballroom and the non-stop dancing kept everyone feeling warm! Great toasts and a great meal… all of the guests had a great time! Everyone especially loved the grooms cake, a tribute to his favorite team, the LA Lakers.

Kristy & Enrique, it was so much fun working with you both! I wish you many many years of happiness ūüôā
