2013 brides, it’s time to begin the search for that dress!

A trunk show is a great place to start the search and in the next few months there will be a few great ones to attend! Though they happen all year, October-March is “trunk show season” so plan to attend a few to find some great dresses at some great prices!

Most bridal salons will only carry a handful of designs from each designer each season. At a trunk show however, the highlighted designer will have all of their gowns on display for you to view. It is a personal experience, where the designer is there (or a rep. from the designer) to personally explain the line and the gowns that they are offering at the show. Sometimes the gowns at the shows aren’t even available for purchase in salons yet, they are making their first appearance to the public at the show!

Trunk shows require an appointment, and they will book up quickly so plan ahead! Be prepared to make a purchase in the case you find “the dress” in order to take advantage of possible show discounts.
